Trichocereus Herzogianus variant Tortorensis also known as Trichocereus Tarijensis variant Tortorensis, is a slow growing columnar cacti which is solitary at first, then branching from the side, dark green stems, up to 18 feet tall (5 m), 8 to 14 inches in diameter (20-35 cm); 20 to 25 ribs; large, close set areoles with gray felt; 4 or more centrals, up to 3 inches long (7.5 cm); many radials, 20 or more, up to 1.6 inches long (4 cm) from Totora in Bolivia. Has supposedly been lumped in with Trichocereus Poco from the same region. This one comes from Fields Cactus Farm by way of Tom Dawson. Very bushy cactus that can appear to be hairy. Was lucky enough to get a pup off of the mother plant in the 1st picture, will have to get more pics of the mother next time out at Fields. Nice cactus ~*
