I recieved this from a private collector, although I believe it originates from Sacred Succulents who describe 'Kimura's Giant' as follows, "Kimura’s Giant is the fattest pachanoid plant we grow, the actual parentage is unknown, but it resembles what we would imagine a hybrid between Pachanoi and Tershceckii would look like- upright, 8″+ diameter green stems, short spines to 1/2″, white flowers." Sounds like a nice plant whatever it is. Crossed with Bridgesii is never bad, should be interesting. The old growth on this has had the big spines cut for shipping. I was going to do a sideways planting for this and had it that way while the pup grew. Changed my mind and broke one of my own rules and replanted it. Should have done it this way from the start. Oh well. The plant will be fine, might just slow things down a bit. The pup looks kinda cool coming out sideways and is starting to lift up. Will eventually stand normally. Looks to be a really attractive plant, can't wait to see how it turns out :)
