Datura Metel ~*

I grew this plant from Herbalistics.com.au seed. Is about a year old now and starting to flower for the 1st time. Metel are for sure my favorite kind of datura, we have Innoxia growing wild in the area also but it doesn't compete. These are far more beautiful.

Is a really good plant for nusea relief and asthma, but is also highly toxic so do not use it at all unless you know what you are doing. Use extreme caution as all parts of the plant are highly toxic, these plants can kill, I cant stress that enough.

Has been very easy to grow, been in the ground about 4 months and is going well with little more than regular watering and the odd bit of fertilizer. Metel has an awesome purple double flower, and deep purple to the stem and branches, with contrasting green leaves. The 1st 2 pics are the same flower in different stages over the last few days, the 3rd and rest are from today, enjoy ~*
