Trichocereus Bridgesii 'Lageniformis' ~*

This plant is also known as 'Sausage Plant' down under, as you'll soon see why. Some people say it's a Pachanoi, Macrogonus, Peruvianus and other names but to be perfectly honest I don't know, and I don't really care. Where I got it, it's named as above, out of respect, I'll call it the same in my garden. In yours, you can call it whatever you want too. Besides, to me it shows traits of Pachanoi, Peruvianus and Bridgesii leaving a postive ID merely conjecture.

Has the tendency to grow very strangely, to say the least. It terminates and shoots again from the tip giving the look of a string of sausages, hence the knickname. Shows alot of rib morphing, decumbent growth and all round oddness. Certainly stands out, as a super wierd mutant, but some people like that. I like anything 'different' personally, and 'Sausage Plant' definatly is. This plant comes from Fields Cactus Farm where there are 2 clumps of this plant and is 1 of the 3 different forms of Bridgesii out there. Was lucky enough to be out at the farm today getting some cuttings, here's some pics :)
